The solar installation project under the Supply Agreement for Renewable Energy (SARE) programme, in collaboration with PDT and United Solar Energy (M) Sdn. Bhd. (USEM) has been implemented in phases since 2023.

Ownership of Solar Panels (After Concession Period)
The achievement of PDT-USEM up to the year 2024 for rooftop solar installations under this programme has successfully reached 1.13 MWp across 22 buildings owned by 11 Local Authorities (PBT).
Solar Generation Monitoring on FusionSolar’s Website
Solar generation for each building in the Local Authorities (PBT) has been monitored in real-time using FusionSolar application technology. Over the course of a year, the PBTs have recorded an average savings of 7% to 10%.
The savings benefits from the installation of solar panels also support the Johor State Government’s initiative in promoting Green Development, while simultaneously strengthening its commitment to achieving sustainable development goals in the state.
